YOUR CHRISTIAN RESPONSIBILITY
You can remember these points by assigning a verse for each of them. Find a verse or a biblical character or incident in the Bible that helps to express these points on your Christian responsibility.
It is your responsibility to:
1. Be Faithful to God and His Word and His work through His Church.
2. Be Available to God in whatever, whenever and wherever.
3. Be Teachable and not rebellious, stubborn and unyielding. Be flexible and humble in heart and always a learner.
4. Be a Follower of Jesus in everything.
5. Express the image of Jesus.
6. Be Disciplined in all aspects of Christian living.
7. Be Uncompromising in your standards and belief in the Lord.
8. Be Productive spiritually in your personal life and in winning souls.
9. Be Content in all things.
Now that you belong to Jesus, it is important to make a clean break with your past (Col. 3:1-10). If you have been involved in wrong and bad relationships, then end them immediately (2 Cor. 6:14). If there are wrongs that you have done then make them right. Establish a new circle of Christian friends in a solid Bible believing Church fellowship. If there are real problems emotionally and spiritually, then seek council from a Bible believing Pastor or a mature Christian Believer.
Get rid of books, ouiji boards, tarot cards, talismen (good luck charms) or anything to do with Satanism, fortune telling, witchcraft, séances, voodoo, sorcery, water divining, free masonry, the occult or the cults (Acts 19:18-19). Collect all the stuff you own that has to do with the occult or Satan. Throw it out and then burn it, saying aloud: "Satan, I reject and renounce you and break your power over my life now and as far back as the third and fourth generation, in the Name of Jesus"
If you have any feeling of compulsion, defilement, strong negative thoughts, destructive tendencies, uncontrolled anger, unexplained confusion of mind, lusts, strong depression or suicidal tendencies, then ask for help from other believers in Christ to break the power of Satan.
