Introduction

In life the toughest challenges we experienced have never escaped our memories. They spurred us to the most valuable and lasting achievements.

We all experience challenges but it is only those who rise to that challenge that grow stronger in the process. You have survived every challenge that came your way and each one has made you stronger, confident and wiser.

Opposition is a natural part of life. Just as we develop our physical muscles through overcoming opposition, such as lifting weights, we develop our character muscles by overcoming challenges and adversity.

Our challenges come from

1. People

Life is not about you and yourself. Yet there could have been people that would have hurt us in the past, not everyone is after your life! Those who created the pain of yesterday do not control the pleasure of tomorrow.

You become stronger when you know that this world is not fair. Release all that bitterness. God promises to give you a new beginning! Jesus said,

John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

2. Places

Certain places remind us of the pain of the past, the broken promises and the failed attempts. But there is a place in the heart of God where you belong. There is a place in the heart of God where He shelters you and provides for you. Everywhere else is slipping sand.

Exodus 33:21 Then the LORD said, "There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock.

3. Events (Proceedings)

Job went through some real hardships and pain during his life. He made headline news of a righteous God-fearing man struggling to solve the riddle of life. You can imagine the headlines: “ Job hits rock bottom”. While others had a rugs-to-riches story, his was a has-been story. But He refused to quit. In the end he didn't look like what he had gone through. Hold on my dear. With Christ on our side, we won't look like what we had been through.

Our Victory Comes from

1. Carrying the cross

It became dark when Christ hang on the cross. God knew what he was doing that day when darkness covered the whole earth. Are we willing to entrust ourselves to that kind of God whose ways are far above our own?

Carry your cross and follow Christ. He championed the cause for us. Don't worry about the rain on your path or the darkness that engulfs the world. You might not like the cross. You might hate the rain. You might loathe the darkness. Understand the purpose of the rain. You can find your way in the dark.

2. Standing upon the promises of God’s Word

Are you in a faith battle? If you stay in faith and keep your mind focused on the Lord Jesus Christ and His anointing, He will bring you out victoriously. Victory belongs to the person who refuses to let go of the Word.

3. Understanding our identity in Christ

You are not an ordinary person. You are a son of God. You are from God. Before you can change anything, you must be different from it! Success is becoming what God wants you to be, doing what God wants you to do and possessing what God wants you to have. Anything else is ordinary.

4. Knowing that something good is about to happen

At some point when we face hard times and when life makes no sense whatsoever, we need to stop and say to ourselves, “Something big is happening here." God never wastes anything. Not even the tiniest tear falls without a purpose.

It's not many things that you see in advance, but if you wait long enough, God always reveals his will.

Conclusion

Make your decision today to kill and destroy everything that has generated fear and not faith in your life. Conquer every habit, every addiction, every fear and every sin. Use what you have to defeat what the enemy used against you. Resist the devil (stand firm against him), and he will flee from you.

God has the best plans for you and in the end, you and Him will have fun. There is a future to this.
